I thank the Lord for the 25 year ministry I have had as a teacher, musician, and Missionary/Pastor’s wife. I have learned that there are things that are foundational in the Christian life. These equip the believer to have an effective walk with God. Of course, a thorough knowledge of the Word of God is necessary, as well as having a church in which to grow, learn and serve. Music, which plays a vital role in culture and community everywhere, is of utmost importance in the life of a Christian. Music that honors God will provide both an opportunity for instruction and worship.

The trend in churches and homes today is gravitating toward more contemporary music. Many newly produced songs are being sung in churches in the place of the old-fashioned hymns. This leaves a vacuum among children and young believers who have never heard many of the beautiful, doctrinally- sound, ageless songs found in the hymnal. My goal in making these hymn recordings is to make available to the Christian community around the world a collection of foundational hymns that can be learned and sung anywhere. My desire is for families to use these recordings to teach their children the words of these timeless, Biblically-based songs and hymns and spiritual songs. New believers will learn the lovely melodies and words which they can hide in their hearts as they begin their journey with the Lord. Those who have spent a lifetime in their Christian walk will have the opportunity to meditate and worship their Savior as they listen and sing along with the music they already love and appreciate. The gospel of salvation is clearly presented in these albums. A person who has yet to trust Christ as their Savior will find a witness of Christ to speak to their hearts.

These albums are beautifully accompanied by Heather Roberts on piano and keyboards along with several other Christian instrumentalists. Both CD's, “My Master and My Friend,” and “My Blessed Redeemer,” present 32 hymns. These digital recordings minister to every age group, providing Christ-centered, spiritually refreshing music for the home. Be sure to make these collections a part of your sacred music library.

Since making these two recordings, my primary music ministry has been equipping the Hungarian believers in our ministry to serve the Lord in song. I have rejoiced to see their improvement in skill and understanding as they serve and worship God through His wonderful creation of music.
